Thanks for your interest in our services.
Professional Home Inspection (PHI) was previously owned and operated by Warren and Dianne Webster. In 2006, the Websters retired and discontinued their home inspection business. Recently, in May 2021, Jeffrey Boucher assumed ownership of the Professional Home Inspection brand name, and relaunched this previously highly regarded home inspection business. Jeff has spent an entire career in the electric power industry, designing power plants and transmission substations for almost 40 years. Jeff is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, a Montana State and Purdue University graduate, and a nationally published author.
Although we do not perform engineering services, the education and background of our inspectors provides the client with the confidence that their new home purchase is free from any significant issues. Issues related to functionality of the home, related to plumbing, electrical, storm water drainage, etc. In addition, the primary purpose of home inspections is to identify safety hazards, which have the potential to harm residents or guests in the home.
During a scheduled home inspection, the PHI inspector will “observe and report” all conditions inside and outside the property, according to our company developed checklists, and according to published national standards. Our inspector will take photos of all checklist items, the “good and the bad“. Any issues related to ‘function’ or ‘safety’ will be highlighted in the report summary.
In addition to home inspections for existing houses/structures, Professional Home Inspections offers an additional service performing “punchlist walk-throughs” with clients for new construction. Refer to the Additional Services tab for more information.
